The subscription cost is the amount shown but ONLY If you renew. after you receive a few issues, you will receive a renewal notice in the mail. if you do not renew, they will then give you a refund for about $2 and they will stop sending any remaining issues. i received such renewal notice 7 months before the 1-year subscription expiration date!

I don't understand why every review for Cosmo is the same...people saying how much they hate it. I've been reading it religiously for almost 10 years now, first buying it each month at the grocery store, and then finally subscribing to it, and I have to say, I love it!! I breathlessly await each issue. They aren't all the same, as some of you say, and anyway, nobody is forcing you to read it. If you don't like it, just stop reading it, but don't blast it. Its an American classic, and the real American woman was built on cosmo.

I was a little worried about buying a subscription online for cosmo, but it was so cheap that I had to try. I recieved confirmation emails and my first and second month's with no problems, I highly recommend that any magazine reader purchase their subscriptions here, same product for less money-genius!
