Happy Consumer July 26, 2010 Ann L. Staudt I use to buy this product in my local Home Depot and could not find it anymore.
Weekly I use the towels to refresh work clothes.
There is no harsh chemicals or smells remaining on the clothes after use.
It is a great product.
would recommend it to all.
It doesn't do anything! July 18, 2010 Jeanne Boyd (NYC USA) I didn't have high expectations for this product, but I thought it would freshen some pillows and wool suits. Several loads later, I have to admit that this product doesn't seem to do anything at all. It's the equivalent of throwing dry clothes in the dryer with a dryer sheet. Except far more expensive. I do not recommend it and I won't be buying it again.
Pilled up sweater upon first use May 26, 2010 sclare (Portland, OR) Really bummed this morning after my first use of this Woolite product. Upon removing a sweater from the dryer I noticed an excessive amount of pilling on the front -- this wasn't originally there. Can still wear the sweater but now it will won't be going on any business trips with me and will be relegated to a casual piece. Better off handwashing or paying my local cleaners.
Emphasis on "refresh" May 15, 2010 J. Burwell (Houston) I'm told that the best care for your fine wool garments is to avoid dry cleaning when at all possible, using a quality brush and occasional spot cleaning as necessary to ensure long life. With that in mind, I find this product to be a fair last-resort before hauling a suit down to the dry cleaner. Using a brush to remove lint and debris and occasional spot-cleaning with cleaning fluid as needed, I've turned to this only after faint odors are detectable, and the results are terriffic. My newest suit has yet to see a professional dry cleaner at all under this regimen.
If I'm suspicious in any way, it's primarily because of the fragrance. Although it is certainly refreshing, I would prefer for there to be no fragrance at all, so that I can more accurately determine the effectiveness of the product. Still, my pants and jackets come out ready to go in 20 minutes, needing only slight ironing to tighten the crease, and for that I'm grateful.
Not for spots May 2, 2010 M. Hanlon (Syracuse, NY USA) If you can iron, you may not see the dry cleaner's again. Worthless for spots, great for general maintenance.
